 Artists of Instagram

Danielle Aphrodite Nemet is a videographer based in NYC who I resonate with a lot. Her artwork encapsulates a sort-of Y2K aesthetic that has a modern day twist. She's worked with various models and musicians that I also love (Babyxsosa in the photo) and I think she definitely deserves more recognition.

Miranda Blase is a queer latina artist primarily working in ceramic sculpture. Her art is a reflection of her own femininity and identity as a woman who likes women. For her, its also therapeutic as a discussion between her art, herself and culture. She was recently the featured artist for the Marchutz School of Art in France.

Qinniart-Birdcage
Qinniart (Qing Han)was a Chinese-Canadian artist who was a strong figure on the online art community who's artwork inspired many growing artist. Her artwork is seen everywhere, but many still don't know who she is. Many accounts have stolen her work and companies have profited by stealing her works and selling them. In the year of 2020 she has passed due to her illness that she fought for many years.

"known_art" is an African American artist who has a strong presence while walking into a room. She spent years working on her craft, so it wasn't made in a day. Her work resonates with me due to the fact that she painted a popular musical artist who I know very well, Tupac Shakur. Her work definitely deserves more recognition thus I acknowledged her artwork here,

Aliza Nisenbaum decided to paint portraits of undocumented immigrants living in Queens New York. She paints portraits of individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Her artwork resonates with me because she focuses on the struggles of of undocumented immigrants.
