Essay Part Two (Please post both parts together!)

 Part Two:

    

When I first saw this artwork the first thing, I thought of was the Olympics. I’m not sure why but this art piece symbolizes all the track runners, the awards of stars the trophy towards the right side of the picture and the different texture and colors giving life to the art piece. This artwork is amazing with high value and dedication from Ben Jones, and he gave it a awesome color scheme. According to Genocchio (2009) Ben Jones is known for his imperative artwork and dedication towards fashion. 

From my point of view this image relates to the black man living in the late 70’s. On the brink of reaching the 1980’s he’s a young man stuck between fashion and the verge of rap and hip hop. You can see the design and colors with its translucent color theme and many dashes of color paint and drip falling down to represent swag in the 1980’s. This artwork is a masterpiece. According to Lanay (2019) the body is a symbolic molecule condensed as a movement allowing it to fill an artist need.

Ben Jones artworks and critique are quite defined in a inter complex matter for hope of the man and the dream to be made. He is defining the world and its culture from a point that many people can’t see. That’s why I say his artwork is transparent in a sense. You must understand his culture and why this art piece was made to get a view of his ideal artwork. This is culture from many generations and the significance this art piece is historical.
