Final Intervention Draft
My final project is to gonna be about creating a series of visually striking posters that captures a random act of kindness in each poster. I want my caption to be bold and thought provoking. I need whoever that's going to view this poster to feel a connection to this person through the posters. We live in a society where it's normal to go about our days without acknowledging people, and we often forget that the person sitting right next to us is just another 'You' going through world almost akin to us. I understand how deep mental health is, but it's important to show compassion, and although it may come with being uncomfortable, it's almost equivalent to leaving your mark on the world through person you treated kindly your life.
I tried to implement color theory, and I used yoga posters as a reference, because the colors in their posters often capture attention through color and often bring out an emotion through bright, and vibrant colors. I 'll be capturing images of the kindest people I know giving back in a way, whether that's through an interaction with a student that seems down or in a way of building community. I'll then digitally edit all of these layers, and caption them with thought-provoking messages that encourage viewers to embrace the randomness of kindness in their daily lives.
I got inspired by the 'Art of activism book" in it's way of combining thought provoking captions with interesting looking actions. It was actually a poster that had caught my eye.
