No to doing business using our health
Which is more important, People's health or the profit-making of people's health?
I find it an important question to ask the Supreme Court when they were making the decision to legalize marijuana. What did they find more important? I believe the scale towards economy was more important and worthy than on the other hand, making sure the people of the states were to be in good health. How did they even compromise between both?
let's go back a little with history. Back in 1933–1945, Nazi Germany created several anti-tobacco campaigns. Why do you think? Well, it's obvious. They care about their people mentally and physically. Though, on the other hand, the United States thought since people were already doing marijuana, why don't we take advantage and make tax profit out of it. In my opinion, they played it right. The U.S. has made a big recreational business profiting billions of dollars in a short time. Based on Investopedia, it states, "In November 2021, the South Dakota Supreme Court agreed and ruled against pot legalization. On the other hand, Arizona has collected more than $284 million of tax revenue since the legalization of marijuana in the state."
