Chapter 5 and Chapter 6

 " If people don't know how to process facts and make meaning out of them, then the facts will stay right where they are; on the literature table or in a museum." (Pg.174) 

This quote stuck out to me particularly because I believe that many of us sometimes are just satisifed with knowing the facts, but if we already know the facts why not go and drop something with that information. this could be where our activism kicks and those facts can be the base to a project. 

when people don't agree with us, and when they don't change their behavior their behaviors in the ways we'd like, we too often dismiss them as bull-headed, ignorant or even stupid"

this quote stuck out to me in particular because when someone doesn't think what we think we automaticlly think they're wrong but if we go back to what chapter 5 was talking about we have to be open to think about what other people are thinking about
